Our first day of the road trip. On the way, we passed through Cherkasy, Kirovograd, and Mykolaiv. Each area was filled with checkpoints. In the pic, you can see the painted-over destination and mileage road signs with the slogan “Russian Warship, Go F*ck Yourself”. Now there are road signs pointing to The Hague, the site of the international tribunal over Putin. These areas are not safe, but our team still chose to help children and distribute baby food regardless.
