Mission in the Kyiv region, Part IV

Children are the future of Ukraine! They are our hope and our promise. Our children need a safe place to grow up, and we will do whatever it takes to give them that chance.

We have war in Ukraine, and we need protective gear, ammunition, and spare parts are all in high demand to keep fighting. But most importantly, our team will never forget about a single child, even in these dark times. Volunteers will always have an opportunity to stop by and help. 

On their journey to Makariv, the team stopped in various villages and settlements to help families with their children. They gave them sweets and spent time with them, playing games and talking, doing our best to bring some joy into kids” lives. 

The volunteer’s actions impressed the parents and children, and locals were also very grateful for the humanitarian aid and other gifts they received. Since the war had started, they had never seen anything like this and were amazed at how generous the volunteers could be. They thanked them profusely and promised never to forget such kindness.

It was rewarding work, and we were glad to be able to help out however we could.
