Besides working with private donors, and sending the funds directly – we are working on creating public events and collaborating with local businesses/venues to drive awareness of what’s happening as well as drive donations forward. The first one is happening this Sunday.
We have connected with the Subculture group and Rodney Mayo. Who kindly invited us to participate in the film festival weekend. They specifically created the Ukrainian film category so that a Ukrainian producer/filmmaker can participate and raise funds.
There will be silent auctions and goals of raising specific means for specific missions.
A portion of the proceeds will go towards UKi Relief Fund!
A good friend and huge supporter of help for Ukraine DJ Oleg Nikitin will be supplying the beats, and we will have a live interview feed with our volunteers and the producer of the movie.
Sarah Scheffer is putting this whole thing together with Rodney and has been a huge help.
