We spent the night in Pervomaisk. Sadly, it was too dark for us to take pictures.

In the past, a number of the Soviet Union’s major military facilities were located in this town, including Rocket Forces and Artillery, as well as nuclear weapons. Interestingly, after abandoning it, the USA even built typical military housing for people to live in.

The vast majority of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are men, but some women serve in those forces too. Pervomaisk has a large number of women serving in the military.

Here is a photo of the router for WIFI. Even in bomb shelters, people have found a way to have the Internet, which is very different from what our neighbors have.

After spending the night in Pervomaisk, we left for Kyiv.  As we drove out of the region, we took the last picture. The sign says: “See you later in the Mykolaiv region”.
